Travis Shawn "Kojak" McCook, 48, of Baconton died Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 10 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Hall and Rev. Jake Williams officiating. Visitation will follow services.
Born March 3, 1977 in Camilla, GA, Mr. McCook was the son of the late Victor Franklin McCook and Pauline Parker McCook. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Dale McCook and Mike McCook. He was a farmer and member of Sale City Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sisters, Melissa Sharpe and Debbie McCook; brothers, Tracey McCook (Barbara), Tony McCook (Sharon), Ike McCook (Jenny), and Brad McCook (Kelly); loving companion, Dana Spence and her children, Ariel Wilkinson, Logan Laird, Samantha Spence, Russell Spence, Robert Spence, Frankie Hillhouse, and grandchild, Ronan Fain; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The family will be receiving friends at the residence of Jordan McCook, 605 Moultrie Rd, Camilla, GA.
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
