Travis Andre Sowell, 58, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024.
Travis loved cooking, shooting pool, playing cards, telling jokes and working on cars. He was a cook at Tumbleweed.
He also enjoyed playing bingo and loved drawing. He was a huge Louisville and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Travis is preceded in death by his parents, Anderson Sowell Sr. and Ola Sowell; brothers, Anderson Sowell, Jr., Bobby Joe Sowell and Reginald Sowell; wife, Rosalind Sowell.
He is survived by his children, Ugennear "Angel" Calloway (Darius), KeAndra Boyd (Tim), Staci Sowell, Traci Sowell, Sharday Sowell, Tamarri Archie (Chris) and Whitney Sowell; brother, Ricky L. Sowell (Shuvon); sisters, Susie Malone and Helen Forbes (Charles) and sister in law, Geraldine Sowell.
His Celebration of Life will be at 12 noon, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Ratterman Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Rd. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service.

I had the pleasure of working with Mr Sowell. So sad to be seeing this months after. You´ll be missed.

I went to the same dialysis center as Travis we became friends he cheered me up alot when I was down he shared alot of knowledge with me on life
Took me to bingo something I do not know nothing about play but he was patient with me that's what makes Travis a good person his patients and a genuine person and the love of his family
I will miss you my friend
