Travis Thagard Obituary
Travis was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1998 where he excelled in baseball. Although he was a lifelong FSU fan, he graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2005, with a degree in engineering. After graduation, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he began his career as a construction engineer and continued his career in Colorado and Texas before he returned to Florida in 2015. He was employed with Hale Construction at the time of his death.
He is survived by his parents Wayne Thagard (Debi) and Martha Stewart; brother Gary Thagard (Lauren) and step-sister Summer Tryon (Donavan); grandparents Joseph Thagard and Mary Ellen Letchworth; nephews TSgt Taylor Thagard (USAF) (Kassidy) and Larry Kase Thagard; niece Rhian Thagard (Chris); great-nephew, Kashtyn; great-nieces Klaira Jo and Paisley Mae. He is also survived by a special uncle, Victor Thagard (Dorothy); aunts Becky Durant and Beth Thagard as well as a host of cousins and other extended family members whom he loved dearly.
At this time, no services are planned.

Dearest Travis,
Happy birthday, my first love.
I carry your memory like sunlight through leaves-soft, warm, and always with me.
Though time has moved us apart, your voice still echoes in quiet moments,
reminding me of the love we once shared and the promise you once made-
that I would always hold a special place in your heart.
You will always hold one in mine .
There are days I miss you more than ever,
and I often wish we had been granted more time,
more laughter, more jokes, more years.
Yet I trust in something beyond this world-
a gentle reunion, a peace-filled place where we meet again.
In this life, I fell in love with you twice-
once in youth, and again twenty-five years later, and yet the feeling never faded.
I will never forget you.
You are loved, now and always.
