Travis Jay Tippetts, age 48, of Talmage, passed away November 9, 2025, at his home.
He was born December 27, 1976, in Salt Lake City, to Dennis Jay and Wilma Jill Anderson Tippetts.
Travis worked as a heavy equipment operator and a concrete worker in construction. He enjoyed working on cars, listening to music, hanging out with friends and family, being in the outdoors and, in his younger days, fishing. He was a huge Raiders fan, liked NASCAR, his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. He had a wonderful heart, he delighted in helping others and was a real people person. Family was most important to him and he cherished spending time with each of them.
Travis is survived by a son, Devin Tippetts; siblings, Jady (Marley) Tippetts, Salt Lake City; Jennifer (Casey) Norris, Talmage; Jeremy (Candice) Tippetts, Green River, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ryan Tippetts; his mother; a niece, Jaydra Sidelle Tippetts; and his favorite dog, “Butch.”
There will be a family graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, on his family property in Talmage.
