Travis Williams

Travis Williams, of Rockford departed this earthly life February 9, 2025. He was born September 1, 1957 in Rockford the son of Hurtis Sr. and Annie Williams. He married Rachel Wright, she preceded him in death. Travis was employed as a custodian at a Nursing Home in Michigan City, Indiana. He attended Rockford Public Schools. He loved fishing and eating sweets, cards, dominos and hanging with his family.

Travis leaves to cherish many loving memories, special niece Rachel Williams; special nephews Benny Crawford Jr., Kenneth Crawford and James L. Williams Jr; sister in law, Linda Crawford; aunts, Ella and Agnes Redmond; good friends, Jon Hall Sr., and Joe Henderson; a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Rachel Williams; three brothers, Willie Crawford, Benny Crawford Sr., and Hurtis Williams; sister, Betty Crawford-Yancy.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
