Trell Meade, age 75, of Warsaw, passed away on January 6, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. Born on September 17, 1949, to Fred and Merenda Spears in Price, Kentucky. He married his wife Lori Wickey on July 10, 1971 in Clintwood, Virginia.
Trell’s career spanned many years as he worked diligently as a coal miner in Kentucky and worked at several RV factories in Elkhart and Goshen.
In addition, Trell was known for his creative spirit and varied interests. He was also a huge boxing fan and enjoyed woodworking, often creating beautiful handmade birdhouses, which were a testament to his creativity and attention to detail. His passion for music was evident in his ability to play both the banjo and guitar, often sharing melodies that would bring smiles to those around him.
Trell leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife, Lori Meade, and his children: Darcy (Wendy) Meade, Brian (Sally) Meade, Shannon (Brad) Cox, and Lisa Amburgy. He was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren: Josh (Katie) Meade, Brittany Meade, Sarah (Kyle Rickert) Meade, Trevor Turner, Chase (Jessica) Meade, Brooklynn Meade, Logan Sapp, Deanna (Brennan) Kuczka, Michael Cygan, Kelsey Cygan, Makayla Cygan, Alex Jordan, and Dean Hajaji; 20 great-grandchildren. Along with his siblings Yvonne (Randy) Gayheart, Rosemary (Larry) Risner, Adrian LaMartz, and Jesse LaMartz, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during Trell's Life Celebration® visitation on January 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Titus Funeral Home, located at 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580.
