Trenton Jay Gresham, 61, passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2025. Trent was born on April 5,1964 and was raised in Akron. Trent graduated from North High School, Class of 1982 where he played football. Following graduation, Trent and his brother Denny attended the National Institute of Technology where they graduated in electronic engineering.
Trent's career in mechanical contracting led him to work with many amazing people at Middleton Corporation, Trumbull Industries, Jackson Geothermal and Harrington Industrial Plastics.
Through friends, Trent met his wife, Kim Kroah. They married on May 18, 1991, and settled in Manchester/New Franklin where they raised their sons, David and Raymond. Trent was proud to coach his sons' youth baseball and basketball teams. He also supported the Manchester High School football team as equipment manager.
Trent never met a stranger. His funny, charismatic personality drew people in, and he could strike up a conversation with anyone. He made deep connections with neighbors and was always available with his time, talents, and tools to help others.
When he had free time, Trent enjoyed a day of fishing, golf, bowling, cards and watching his favorite sports teams. Lately, he developed a passion for gardening, and he and Kim enjoyed beautifying their yard and tending the vegetable garden together.
Trent was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Patricia Gresham, in-laws David Kroah, Bob Pfahl, grandparents Oscar and Betty Rapkin, Ray and Marge Kroah.
Trent will be greatly missed by his loving wife Kim Gresham; sons, David (Nisreen) Gresham and Raymond Gresham; granddaughter, Amina Gresham; brothers Tom (Barb) Gresham, Ted (Stephanie) Gresham, Denny (Carol) Gresham; nieces and nephews, Doug, Jimmy, Matt, Jonathan, Dawn, LeeAnna, PJ, Jessica, Jared, Alex, Aaron, Paige, and Ruby; mother-in-law, Debbie Pfahl; sister-in-law, Denise (Tom) Timmons; brother-in-law, Michael (Nicole) Pfahl; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives, friends and work families. Regardless of if you are listed above, friend or family, if you were ever part of Trent's life you knew you were cared about and loved by him.
