Trenton Allen Setser, age 23, of
Benton, Tennessee, passed away on December 21, 2025. He was born on July 10, 2002, in
Marietta, Georgia. Though his time on this earth was far too short, the love he gave and the lives he touched will remain forever.
Trenton was the kindest, sweetest, most caring, and loving soul. He carried a quiet strength and a gentle heart that made everyone around him feel safe, valued, and deeply loved. He was a devoted husband, a loyal son, a loving brother, and the very best uncle. Trenton lived his life with purpose, always putting others before himself and finding joy in making the people he loved happy.
He shared a beautiful life with his wife, Kara Setser, whom he loved deeply and unconditionally. Trenton took great pride in caring for and protecting his wife, always ensuring she felt loved, supported, and never alone. Their bond was built on love, laughter, and unwavering devotion, and his role as a husband was one he cherished above all else.
Trenton is survived by his mother, Tricia Setser; his father, Allen Setser; his stepfather, Victor Alexander; and his grandmother, Mary Braden (Grammy). He is also survived by his brothers, Chandler Setser, Keyton Alexander, Zach Alexander, and Chris Alexander, and his sisters, Victoria Alexander and Sienna Alexander. Family meant everything to Trenton, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Amanda Broglin; his father-in-law, David Broglin; his sister-in-law, Molly Jones; and his beloved niece, Dallas Jones, whom he adored with his whole heart. Being an uncle brought Trenton immense joy, and he took great pride in that role.
Trenton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louise Roach, Thomas Roach, Cecil Setser, and Beverly Setser.
In his free time, Trenton loved gaming with his friends-moments filled with laughter, connection, and lasting friendships he valued deeply. He was incredibly proud of his new career as an insulator and had recently begun an apprenticeship. Trenton was excited about his future and worked hard to build a life filled with stability, purpose, and love for his family.
Above all else, Trenton loved being surrounded by family and friends. He always made time for those he cared about, never letting anyone feel forgotten. His heart was selfless, his love unconditional, and his presence brought comfort and happiness to everyone around him.
Trenton's kindness, strength, and unwavering love will never be forgotten. His legacy lives on through the countless memories he created and the deep love he shared. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Fairview Baptist Church, with Pastor Chad Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with Keyton Alexander, Zach Alexander, Asa Jack, Chandler Setser, Clint "C.J." Fiddler, and Peyton Nelms serving as pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service at the church.
