Treva Marshall

Treva Marshall passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on January 31, 2026 in Madera, California. Born on August 3, 1929 in Anadarko, Oklahoma, Treva's life was a testament to the values of family, faith, and the simple joys of homemaking.

Treva was the heart of her family since her blissful union with her late husband Joseph Marshall on October 17, 1945. They were married for 43 years before his passing on October 30, 1988. A cherished mother, she was predeceased by her daughter Lola Bayless, her daughter Linda Marshall, her son Kevin Marshall, her parents Charles and Bessie Chambers, her siblings Lola Brinlee, Patsy Roberts, Doyle Chambers, Donald Chambers, Charles Chambers and her son in law Alex Molina.

Treva leaves behind a loving legacy through her son, Charles Marshall (Bridget) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her daughters, Sharon Beck (Joe) of Madera, Brenda McJunkins of Carthage, Missouri, and Tonya Molina of Madera; and her sister, Mary Sue Osterday of Washington State. Her memory will be fondly remembered and celebrated by her 22 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, with one more on the way August 2026, a testament to the rich tapestry of life she helped weave.

Treva expended her wisdom not in formal education but through the meticulous care she took of her home for 83 years and the lessons of life and love she imparted. Treva was often seen crafting beautiful embroidery, exquisite Tri-Chem embroidery painting and solving various word search puzzles. Her culinary skills, particularly her favorite lemon meringue pie, were the highlight of many family gatherings, and the sight of her tending to her collection of over 400 house plants revealed the depth of her nurturing soul.

A faithful Christian, she was a member of the Church of God in Madera, where her presence was a constant source of comfort and inspiration.

Treva's character can best be described by her loved ones as loving, kind, and thoughtful. Her life was not just measured by the length of her years but by the love she freely gave and the positive impact she had on those around her.
