Trevor Langenbach Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, Schaghticoke on May 24, 2025.
Langenbach, Trevor
Valley Falls, Rensselaer County
Trevor Nicholas Langenbach, son of Nicholas D. Langenbach and Allison Allen of Valley Falls, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 with loving family at his side at Albany Medical Center. He was 8 years old.
Born on September 7, 2016 in Troy, NY, he loved being outside especially at the farm and the shop. He loved helping his dad working on trucks and was intrigued with tools – often being the reason they would go missing. He loved his brothers Wyatt and Nathan talking to him and rubbing his legs. Trevor and his sister Addison were very close and best friends up until the day he passed. She was a little momma to him and loved taking care of him and giving him all the snuggles.
He loved his nurses and would light up when they checked on him, and he would follow them around the room with his eyes and give them smirks every time they rubbed his head.
In addition to his loving parents Nicholas and Allison, he is survived by his siblings, Addison, Wyatt and Nathan, his paternal grandparents David Langenbach of Valley Falls and Lana Stewart of Easton, maternal grandparents Randy and Terri Allen of Johnsonville and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and so many community members and people out of state that prayed for him and followed his story.
We would like to thank every single staff member that cared for Trevor. Every attending, resident and nurse. The Journeys team for making things a little less stressful. Thank you to everyone who loved our boy and every person on D7 who treated him with so much love, you are family
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 10am – 1:00pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Tiashoke Farm, 11834 NYS Route 40, Schaghticoke, NY 12154. Memories will be shared at 1:00pm with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Verbeck Ave., Schaghticoke.
