Trey Jeffrey Wolfe, 11, of Churubusco, passed away on May 3, 2025, at his father's home.
He was born in Fort Wayne on May 18, 2013, to Jeffrey and Kristy (Diller) Wolfe. He spent the last year in Churubusco.
Trey was a young man full of life and curiosity. From a young age, he found joy in the simple things life offered. Trey had a fondness for the outdoors, often seen fishing, playing disc golf, riding his bike, and playing baseball. He also enjoyed working on projects such as woodworking and tinkering around. Trey was known for his love of food and enthusiasm for meeting new people. Even in his short life, he made a lasting impact on those around him with his infectious energy and zest for life. Trey had a heart for his young cousins, the young kids in his church, and the kids at Lifewise. He was always happy to give them attention and play.
He knew his Lord and Savior and accepted Jesus on Good Friday, 2024. He attended Christ Community Church and Headwaters Church before that.
Trey is survived by his mother, Kristy Wolfe; his father, Jeffrey Wolfe; his siblings, Deanna (Eli) Foote, Jared (Elizabeth) Wolfe, Kami Wolfe, and Max Wolfe; his grandparents, George and Bonnie Diller and Jerry and Irene Wolfe; his nephews, Theodore and Henry Wolfe; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Mitchel Ray Wolfe, on September 14, 2011.
A funeral service will occur at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Christ Community Church, 6235 County Road 650 East, Churubusco, with calling one hour before the service.
The family will also receive family and friends at the Church on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Trey will be laid to rest at Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco.
Memorials may be directed to Lifewise Academy (Smith-Green).
