Crayton "Trigger" Enlow Hodge, Jr., age 76, of Gainesville, Florida passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. Trigger was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina on May 19, 1947 to Crayton Sr and Wilma Hodge. Trigger was married to Cynthia for 17 years and Denise for 30 years.
He graduated from Santa Fe High School where he received a high school diploma. Trigger worked as a warehouse manager and bulk delivery driver for the Coca Cola Company for 47 years. He enjoyed watching the Florida Gators in football and baseball, actually any sport. He was a Civil War enthusiast and loved to tell jokes and drink Coca Cola.
Trigger is survived by his daughters, Rebecca (Brian) Livingston of Newberry, Florida and Abigail Hodge of Williston, Florida; step-daughters Morgana (Cheyenne) Witt of High Springs, Florida, Christine Metz of Los Angeles, California, and Monica Metz of Gainesville, Florida; granddaughters, Alexis Livingston of Newberry, Florida, Eden Miller, Dallis Witt, and Gianna Witt; grandsons, Troy (Hailey) Matthews of Gainesville, Florida, Preston Splitt, Easton Witt, and Kingston Miller; great-granddaughter Maci Matthews; sisters, Cheri Trosclair of Jacksonville, Florida and Iris Ferda of Mizzoula, Montana.
Trigger was preceded in death by his parents Wilma Cain Hodge and Crayton Enlow Hodge, Sr.; brothers, Jody Hodge and Arnold Willis; sisters, Ina Wilson and Evelyn Lea.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 14 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at Evans Carter Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, July 15 at 1:00 pm at the Spring Hill Cemetery, 24217 NW Old Bellamy Road, Alachua, Florida.
