Trinity Howard Obituary
With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we bid farewell to Trinity Legend Howard "Trin", a luminous soul whose light touched the lives of all who knew him. Trinity, aged 18, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at his home in Sellersburg, Indiana. He leaves behind a legacy of boundless creativity, unwavering passion, and a creative spirit that inspired all who knew him.
Born with an innate spark, Trinity was a native son of Sellersburg, Indiana, where he roamed the streets with an insatiable curiosity and a zest for life that knew no bounds. A student at Silver Creek Senior High School, Trinity was not just a student but a phenomenon, his presence illuminating the hallways with his vibrant energy and infectious laughter.
To know Trinity was to witness a kaleidoscope of creativity and style. His modern fashion sense and attire were a testament to his bold individuality, a canvas upon which he painted the colors of his vibrant personality. His artistic expression knew no limits, his drawings breathing life into the mundane, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Yet, beyond his outward adornments lay a soul pulsating with a fervor for life's adventures. Trinity embraced each day with a tenacity that defied convention. He was the epitome of a gentleman, embracing the opportunity to hold a door, graciously thank others with a "yes ma'am" and "yes sir". In his spare time he was often found concocting a culinary masterpiece, gaming with family and friends, or saltwater fishing upon special occasion. His love for the sciences and botany, eager to unlock the mysteries of the natural world, were a testament to his desire to learn more of the natural world. As an extension of his love for the sciences, he had a special bond with his hedgehog, Tofu and dog, Frankie.
But amidst his many interests, Trinity held a steadfast ambition: to become a respiratory therapist, a profession that resonated deeply with his compassionate nature and desire to heal. He relished the opportunity to serve as a certified nursing assistant, and considered his role of caring for others as the first step in his future career in the healthcare industry. His dreams were as vast, and though his time on this earth was tragically short, his impact will be felt for generations to come.
Survivors include his mom, Nakesha Thompson and dad, Robert "Bert" Thompson; father, Larry Howard, Jr.; siblings, Lawrence "Alex" Howard (Rachael), Matthew Howard (Jaxin), Nathan Howard, Elliot Thompson (Anna), Samantha Ray (Spencer); surrogate brother and cousin, Andrew Kirk; grandfather, Daniel Buechler (Tyna); grandmother, Debra Harris; and beloved great grandmother and matriarch of the family, Margaret Buechler; aunt, Tiffany Kirk and uncle, Randall Kirk; and his "Ride or Die" best friend, Nathan Sanchez.
Memorial visitation will be held 12 - 5 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway – Jeffersonville. A celebration of life will be held at the conclusion of receiving hours, 5 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the funeral home.

It was so endearing to me, to be around this handsome, stylish, young man, who had a classic sense of chivalry. He would definitely open the car door, help an old lady across the street, or offer to carry in your groceries. He always responded with yes ma'am or sir. He was clearly a giving spirit and a caretaker. He was so patient and understanding. I was lucky to know him and I'm glad he was in my daughter's life for the time that he was. You did good while you were here, Trinity! Thank you for being you.

I worked at circle k in Sellersburg he would come in and get his drink and just sit and talk with me and my sister in law for about 30 mins if he wasn't in a hurry. Always had a smile on his face. I only knew him from circle k but he was very respectful. Then I stopped working at circle k and went to wendys for food and there he was waving at me with that big smile on his face that would light up a room. I'm so sorry this has happen.

My first memory of Trinity was when he was born with a head FULL of hair. I would pick him up from daycare when he was about a year old and he would sing Pink Floyd songs on the way home... He would join me when I was watching TV every night. This tiny baby would swing my door open like he was the boss and we would watch Crocodile Hunter or AFV. Although I haven't seen him nearly enough as he has gotten older, I can tell you that he was sweetness and goodness and so much more. Nothing in the world will ever feel the same. His absence can be felt everywhere.
