Trisha Marie Taylor, 55, passed away peacefully on November 11th 2025, at her home surrounded by family and friends. Trisha fought a courageous battle against small cell lung cancer since her diagnosis in June.
Trisha was born on March 31st 1970 in Streator, IL to Patricia Armstrong and Ronald Clark. She married Gary Taylor on August 13th 2022 in Washburn.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Taylor of Washburn, IL; her sons, Eric (Ashley) Cherveny of Lacon, IL; Jacob (Shawna) Cherveny and Declan Nodine both of Washburn, IL; her daughter, Gina (Chase) Melvin and Maya Nodine bothe of Washburn, IL.
Her parents and sister, Tracy, preceded her in death.
In her younger years, Trisha was a CNA, serving the needs of others. Later, she went on to serve the foster care population, opening her home to others for over 20 years. But her favorite part was watching her grandchildren grow up. She was the best grandma anyone could ask for.
Trisha will be deeply missed by all she crossed paths with. She will always be remembered for her selflessness, caringness, and her heart of gold. Forever loved as a wife, mom, and grandma.
