Troy Dewayne Brown

Troy Dewayne Brown, age 38 of Flat Lick, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the home of his brother Shawn.

He was born on December 27, 1986, the son of Penny Brown and the late Obie Brown.

He is preceded in death by his father, Obie Brown and his grandmother, Litha Gambrel.

Left behind to mourn his passing, his wife Dena Brown of Flat Lick, his mother, Penny Brown of Barbourville, his brother, Shawn Brown and wife Joan of Rockholds, a sister, Stephanie Tallon and husband Thomas of Barbourville, brothers, Brandon Crawford of Gray, and Nicholas Crawford and wife Kayla of Scalf and his grandfather, Daw Brown of Flat Lick. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Troy will be conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Brown and Rev. Aaron Gray officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Brown’s Branch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family & friends.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
