Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Troy Byrd, Jr., age 90, of Berea Church Road, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Four Oaks Senior Living in Four Oaks, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:30PM-3:45PM-Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC. Funeral Services will be 4:00PM-Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks, NC. Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson, NC.
Mr. Byrd was born in Johnston County, NC on December 19, 1934 to the late Troy Pinkney and Annie Norris Byrd. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Byrd, daughter, Pansy Arlene Byrd Grimes, grandson, William Gautier, and a sister, Shelby Norris. Mr. Byrd was a retired tobacco grader with the US Department of Agriculture.
Survivors include his son, Todd Byrd of Four Oaks, NC; grandchildren, Zachary Tidechild, Holli Gautier of Ashville, NC, and Erin Byrd of Garner, NC; step-children, Tracy Wynn and husband, Gus, and Eddie Johnson and wife, Teresa all of Four Oaks, NC.
