1972 ~ 2021
Troy L. Colvin, 49, passed away unexpectedly while camping in the Uinta Mountains with his family on August 14, 2021. He was born June 29, 1972 in Ogden, Utah to James Elmer, Jr. and Margaret Ann Blanchard Colvin.
He grew up in Layton, Utah and was working for Kennecott driving Komatsu Trucks. He enjoyed working on trucks and cars, loved going camping, riding ATV's and he was a huge Star Wars Fan.
He married Jami Jo Colvin and together they had three children. Jami Jo passed away in 2016.
Troy is survived by his three children; Jayden, Marissa, and Makaland, his parents, brothers and sisters; Rick Colvin, Shauna (Tracy), Michael (Stephanie) Colvin, Jennifer Jensen, Ryan Colvin, Kristi (Benjamin) Longden, many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will held Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family Thursday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd. prior to the graveside service.
Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton.
