It still just doesn't feel the same, my friend. You were always there for me when I needed someone to bend an ear, whether it was during an in person visit or over Facebook chat. You were always and ever unfailingly upbeat and positive about life, the universe and everything in between, and the gap in my life because of your absence has widened into a chasm that will, I fear, never be filled with another friend as joyous and as delightful as you. I hope you're resting easy and well, Troy, because those of us left here could really use a dose of your laughter these days. Be well among the stars.

Troy, my friend, you were instrumental in facilitating a relationship I long held dear. And even when that relationship fled, you were there for me, and you always persisted in being a proponent for better days ahead. We shared Ohio, we shared a love for Hollywood, and we shared "even if only one half." You will always be a part of me.
