Trae Thomas DeVolld

Trae Thomas DeVolld age 10, of Caldwell, Ohio passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at his home. He was born June 19, 2007 in Canton, Ohio a son of Travis Lee and Brooke Erin McKee DeVolld. Trae was going into the 4th Grade at Caldwell Elementary where he participated in football and wrestling. He could often be found hunting and fishing. He will always be remembered as having a big heart. He loved to make people laugh and smile. Trae never missed an opportunity for a good hug. He is preceded in death by paternal grandfather Darrel DeVolld; paternal great-grandfather Donald Lee DeVolld; maternal great-grandfather William "Bill" Rayner; paternal great-grandparents Don and Joan Price, and cousin Kenzie Rose McKee. In addition to his parents Travis Lee and Brooke Erin McKee DeVolld, those left to cherish his memory are older brother Tanner DeVolld and twin brother Tate DeVolld; paternal grandmother Laurie DeVolld of Caldwell, maternal grandparents Tom and Kathy McKee of Caldwell; paternal great-grandmother Imogene DeVolld of Caldwell; maternal great-grandmother Shirley Rayner of Caldwell; maternal great-grandparents Joe "Butch" and Beverly McKee of Caldwell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Dale Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Halleys Ridge Cemetery near Belle Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Trae DeVolld Scholarship Fund, c/o The Farmers & Merchants Bank, 430 North St, Caldwell, OH 43724.
