Troy L. Geesaman, 74, of Dunkirk, IN, passed away Sunday, March 30th, 2025, peacefully surrounded by loved ones at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. Troy was born in Bluffton, IN, on September 26, 1950, a son of the late Martha (Cash) and Kermit Geesaman. He attended Pennville High School and was formerly employed as a truck driver for the state highway department. Troy was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Dunkirk, IN, and enjoyed driving, watching basketball games on TV, Country Music, and collecting tools. He will be remembered as a loving husband, good provider, and kindhearted man, who would do anything for you. Troy is survived by his wife Maxine Geesaman who he has shared 18 wonderful years with, 1 daughter; Sherry Welch, 2 stepsons; Robert Cooper (Natalie), Terry Cooper (Kim), 1 stepdaughter; Beverly Lawson (Dan), 4 brothers; Earl, Tim, Richard and Ralph Geesaman, 1 sister; Connie Ford, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Martha and Kermit Geesaman. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 11-1 at MJS Mortuaries - Redkey Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Larry Berry officiating. Burial will be held in Dunkirk IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to IU Health Foundation and earmark your gift for Cardiology (PO Box 775589 Chicago, IL. 60677-5589). Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Redkey Chapel.
