Passed away unexpectedly at his home, at the age of 59 years. The son of Jenifer (Rice) and the late Jerry Hare, Troy was born on May 15, 1964, in Bay City, Michigan. He graduated from Hemlock High School with the Class of 1982. He was a machinist by trade. In his spare time, he enjoyed wrenching on cars and tinkering around in the toolshed on the farm. Troy was an avid fan of NASCAR. He enjoyed watching his daughter, Hayleigh, show horses at various events, and teaching his family how to ride dirt bikes.
He leaves behind his daughters: Megan Marie Hare, Hayleigh Ann Hare (Dakota Walz) both of Saginaw; mother: Jenifer Hare, brother: Brian Hare (Tara Braley), sister: Hilary (Todd) House, two nieces: Gabriella and Holly House, all of Hemlock; and his former wife: Brandi Hare of Saginaw. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends. Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents: William and Viola Hare of Hemlock, Howard and Lois Rice of Midland.
Honoring Troy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609. Rev. Michael T. Sawicki will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family, or Peace Ranch, serving military veterans and families, 2570 Hoosier Valley Rd.
