W.L. Case & Company Funeral Directors - MillerBeloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on October 4, 2025, at his home. Age 69 years.
Roger was born January 24, 1956, in Saginaw, MI, to the late Melvin and Barbara (Kollar) Collier. He graduated from Hemlock High School, class of 1975. Roger married Linda Beeg on April 18, 1998. He worked in construction for MDOT, specifically on the Zilwaukee Bridge. Roger enjoyed working on cars as well as showing them. He also loved his pole barn; his favorite place to be. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help others. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family and walking his dog, Sweetie.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Collier, three children: Whitley Collier, Evan Collier, and Nicole (Chris) Johnson; two grandchildren: Quinn and Chase Johnson; three siblings: Gary (Mickey) Collier, Duane (Patti) Collier, Debbie Collier; mother-in-law Yvonne Beeg, sister-in-law Barbara (Scott) Gruhl, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by siblings and their spouses; Sandra and Max Denter, Ben and Metta Bowman, Billy Bowman, Larry Joe and Carolyn Bowman, Rolly Collier; father-in-law Paul Beeg.
Honoring Roger's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd. Saginaw, MI, 48609. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 10:00 am until the time of service.
