Troy Cecil Holland age 80 of Flat Rock died Friday, August 15, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services are Monday, August 18, 2025 at 2 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jim Hixon officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Sunday and 11 am until service time on Monday.
Troy was born December 20, 1944 in Flat Rock, Alabama to parents, Earl David and Ruby Lee Anderson Holland. He was one of thirteen children. He worked for 46 years in the grocery business for Red Food, Bi-Lo and Food City. He loved his family and community and enjoyed the beauty of nature.
Survivors include wife, Becky Houser Holland, children, David Holland, Arlene Atkins(Mike), Mark Holland, Kendall Holland, Renee Pruett(Casey), Jennifer Grider(Randy), grandchildren, Lindsey Holland, Chase Holland, Riley Grider, Lucas Holland, Caroline Grider, Isabella Holland, great-grandchildren, Landon Blackwell, Ava Blackwell, Gracelyn Holland, sister, Eloise Ball, brothers, Coy Lee Holland(Barbara), Jack Holland(Pat), Joe Holland(Debbie) along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Joshua Cole Holland, infant siblings, Jimmy Lee Holland, Johnny Lee Holland and Earl Holland Jr. sister, Louise Kight, brothers, Arville Holland, Billy Gene Holland, Ben Holland and Nick Holland.
