Troy Janda Obituary
After graduating from Clay High School in 1985, Troy went on to study recording engineering at Full Sail University, graduating in 1991. He then achieved his dream of owning his own home theater business, Private Theaters, Inc.
Troy met his loving wife Julia in Orange Park, Florida. Troy and Julia had two children, Chelsea and Austin. Troy loved watching and coaching his children in multiple sports. He was an avid Florida Gator football and baseball fan and enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves. He found immense joy and pride in the accomplishments of his daughter playing multiple sports as a Special Olympics Unified Partner and watching his son play baseball. Troy was passionate about his faith and was a member of Fruit Cove Baptist Church in Fruit Cove, Florida, and First Redeemer Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Troy enjoyed spending time with his family, including his Goldendoodle, Toby.
Troy is predeceased by his father Gene and brother Dean.
Troy is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Julia Janda and children Chelsea and Austin. His mother Maxine and sister Gina Hackworth (Larry).
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am, Saturday, July 5, 2025, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services to begin at 11:00 am with Dr. Tim Maynard officiating. Graveside service to follow, burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetary.
