Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Troy V. McNeal, age 83 of Gibson, who died Wednesday morning, February 19, 2025, in Pruitthealth – Old Capital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 21, in the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson. Burial will follow in the Waldens Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Friday.
Troy was a lifelong resident of Gibson, the son of the late Carl McNeal and Florene Hadden McNeal. He had retired from Stapleton Garment Company after 30 plus years of service and then went to work for IGA in Wrens for several years. He was a member of Bethel Church.
Mr. McNeal was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Betty Sue May & Charlene Wilkinson, and nephew: Mark Chalker, and is survived by several nieces and nephews including Yvonne Pierce, Charlotte Wiggins, Jeff May, Donald May, and Keith May, several great nieces, nephews and friends.
Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
