Troy James Olson
March 23, 1989 - January 4, 2026
Our beloved TJ passed away unexpectedly at home. He is preceded in death by his mother Vickie Sue Workman, grandmother Robin Olson, and grandfather Dale Workman. He is survived by his son Kalvin Olson, his father Troy R Olson, his brother Joshua LuJan and wife Heather, sisters Amber Rodriguez & Ashley Valencia, his grandparents Shaun & Carol Jeanine Simpson, and grandfather Steve LuJan, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
To know Troy was to love him. He was the funniest, most sarcastic person. A family get together will never be the same. He was the first to crack a joke and loved to harass his nieces, & nephews. He loved the outdoors, the Jazz, and the Rams with a passion. He loved all of his family and friends unconditionally no matter what. He was very forgiving, caring, and supportive even if he thought you weren't doing your best. He loved family get togethers, BBQ' s, and being the center of attention. He was the life of the party. As a kid he could beat anyone at video games, he was athletic and the ladies loved him (we have the year book to prove it). His son, nieces, and nephews were his pride and joy. He loved being goofy whether it be putting on a girl's shirt & prancing around, wrestling with the boys, singing out loud, or doing some silly dance (he had the moves). He will be missed by so many; he will never be forgotten. We will celebrate you always; we love you so much and know you are in a good place. Your heart was so big. This loss can never be put into words. Love you always and forever, T.J.
There will be a memorial service to honor the life of Troy James Olson on January 24, 2026, at The Gathering Hall, 4306 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah beginning at 12:00 PM.
