Troy E. Wiley, 54, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 10, 2025. Born on June 17, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois, Troy lived a life full of passion, laughter, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
Troy was a man who found joy in the simple things, remote control car racing across pavement, the peaceful rhythm of Lake Michigan's waves, and the thrill of Xbox gaming. A true gearhead, he loved working on cars and spending time around the water, where he felt most at peace.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Nikki Wiley, who stood by his side through all of life's seasons. He also leaves behind his beloved mother, Catherine Wiley; his daughter, Audrianna Kidwell; and his cherished grandchildren, Alex and Lulu, who brought immense joy to his life.
Troy's spirit lives on in his siblings: Misty Ferguson (Jan), Tammy Wiley, Tracey Perrault (Sherri), Jeremy Wiley (Shandell), and Jessica Smith (Cory); his mother-in-law, Yvonne Merchant; sister-in-law, Terry Bottoms; brothers-in-law, Scott Merchant, Steve Merchant, Greg Boyd, and Wayne Pitts. He will also be missed by his loyal fur babies - Maxine, Sissy, and Sassy - and by a large, loving extended family and many dear friends.
Troy was a man with a big heart and a great sense of humor. Whether he was cracking a joke or lending a helping hand, he made everyone feel like family.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation was chosen. Those who wish to honor Troy's memory may make donations to Scott Funeral Home 812-283-8161 to help with cremation expenses.
A Celebration of Troy's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 1994 South Hickory Grove Road, Salem, Indiana 47167.
Troy's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace by the water he so dearly loved.
