Trudell Claudette Broxson Tolbert, age 93, of Holley, Florida, was born on January 30, 1932, and passed away on January 25, 2026.

Claudette was born to Frank and Bonnie Broxson of Holley, Florida. She married James H. Tolbert in September of 1950, and together they raised three children.

Known affectionately as Claudie and Memaw, she loved spending her days outdoors, from sunup to sundown, tending to her yard. She especially cherished the time she spent fishing and floundering alongside her husband, James.

Claudie is survived by her daughters, Kathey Blankenship-Barnard (Phillip) and Trudie Tolbert, both of Holley, Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Jeremy Blankenship and Jody Blankenship, both of Holley; Kacie Childers of Pace, Florida; Micah Wyrosdick (Scott) of Enterprise, Alabama; and Michael Smith (Julie) of Holley.

She was blessed with ten great-grandchildren: Dakota Blankenship (Allison) of Holley; Caden Blankenship of Navarre; Savannah Wyrosdick, Sonny Wyrosdick, and Weston Wyrosdick, all of Enterprise, Alabama; Reagan Price, James Price, and Evie Charles, all of Pace, Florida, Lyla and Cooper Smith of Holley. She is also survived by her brother, Vickie Broxson of Navarre.

Claudette was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James H. Tolbert; her son, Lenny Tolbert; as well as Marie Bonifay, Peggy Landreth, Catherine Detisch, Ronnie Broxson, and Clayton Broxson, and many cherished nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Holley Point Cemetery.
