Trudy Jean Crislip

Trudy Jean Crislip, age 80, of Philippi, WV died Monday, October 13, 2025, at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center in Elkins, WV. She was born January 5, 1945, in Lick Run, WV, a daughter of the late John and Laura C. Pugh Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Crislip; one daughter, Princess Ann Crislip; a special nephew close to her heart, Sammy Williams and six siblings, Edgell Williams, Betty Williams, Edward Williams, Sonny E. Williams, Judy P. Williams, and Doris Williams. She is survived by her son, James Edward Crislip, II and wife Teresa; five grandchildren, Cassandra George and husband Coty, Joseph Crislip and wife Sarah, Kristina Crislip Myers and husband Justin, Jimmy Crislip and fiancé Mackenzie McSpadden and Johnathan Crislip; three great-grandchildren, Natilee George, Brayden Biggs, and Addison Myers; three siblings, Johnny Williams, Jackie Williams, and Madison Cofer Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Crislip worked as a nursing assistant. She loved God, her church New Life Tabernacle and her family. Trudy's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to ERCC Nursing Home and WV Caring Hospice in Elkins. In honoring Mrs. Crislip's wishes, she will be cremated.
