Truette Alonzo Bateman (89) was born February 22, 1936, in Mount Hermon, Louisiana and passed away February 15, 2026 in Woodville, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded by his daughter Terrie Renee Bateman, parents Carl & Ardel Bateman, brothers Mack Bateman, James Bateman, sisters Panzy McClendon, and Sally Stores.
Truettes' memory will be cherished by his spouse Debbie Bateman of 45 years of marriage, sons Truette A. Bateman, Steven P. Bateman & wife Ginger, Richard Calvert Jr. & wife Eriko, daughter Michelle Sullivan & husband Jerry, sister Jeanie Bateman, fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews and sister-in-law Sharon huff.
He enjoyed watching Nascar, the Houston Astros, the Dallas cowboys and dirt track racing. He loved spending time with his family to listening to his great- Grandchildren running around.
