Tuney Thuringer Obituary
Sioux Falls – James "Tuney" M. Thuringer, 76, went to his heavenly home Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Avera Heart Hospital. Funeral mass will be Monday, June 9 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Parkston. Visitation will be Sunday, June 8 from 5 to 7 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Parkston.

Sorry for your loss. I have many memories of Tuney through all the school years and beyond. Jim was a good friend always with his infectious smile to lighten up any situation. Small school pranks to trips in the Ford station wagon that smile was always there.
Didn't know that I was at the Heart Hospital the day Tuney left us. That will always be in my memory!
