Tweedie A. Stevens, born Sunday January 23, 1955, in LaGrange, Georgia, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and quiet strength. Tweedie graduated from LaGrange High school in 1973 and continued her education in the medical assistant field graduating in 1975, Tweedie dedicated her life to the medical field, where her compassion and skill made a lasting impact on countless lives. The true meaning of the Sabbath Child is fair and wise and good in every way.

Tweedie was a fiercely independent woman-self-sufficient, resourceful, and always ready to tackle any challenge. She was a natural problem solver, never one to ask for help, because she always found a way. Her determination and quiet confidence were admired by all who knew her. She was a Christian and had faith in her convictions.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Tweedie loved family holidays and was known for preparing grand feasts that brought everyone together. Her warmth and generosity shone brightly during these gatherings, where her love for her family was felt in every dish she served.

Camping at the beach was one of Tweedie's favorite pastimes, whether with her sister or on her own, she cherished the peace and beauty of nature. Her garden was a reflection of her nurturing spirit, filled with plants she lovingly rooted and tended. Animals held a special place in her heart, and she cared deeply for her dogs, cats, and chickens.

Though shy by nature, Tweedie was kind and with a heart of gold. Once you knew her, you knew someone who would do anything for you. She always had a kind word and a gentle presence that made others feel seen and cared for.

Tweedie is survived by her grandchildren, Gavin and Lilly Stevens, her two sons, Stephen Mifsud, Daniel Stevens his wife Heather Stevens and four step grandchildren, Landon, Aria, Sam and Jarrett; her father, Millard Adcock his wife Myrtice C Adcock; and her sister, Wanda A. Bazanta. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Florence M. Adcock.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, in the gardens she grew, the meals she cooked, and the love she gave so freely.

The family will hold a memorial to celebrate Tweedie's life and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27th at The Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2098 Mooty Bridge Rd, LaGrange, GA 30241.
