St. Joseph, Missouri…Ty Elvin J. Dawson, age 27, was born a twin on March 21, 1998, in Greenville, Texas. He was the beloved son of Ronnie M. Dawson and Trina and Aaron Reeder. Ty passed away on December 12, 2025.
Ty attended Maysville High School and earned his GED in 2018. He was known for his kind heart, dependable nature, and outgoing personality. Ty had a continuous laugh that could light up a room and bring comfort to those around him. He loved playing video games and was a hard worker who took pride in everything he did. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Trevor Dawson; infant brother, Jarrell Dawson; grandfather, Junior Utt; paternal grandmother, Ellen Dawson; and Aunt Tisha Bohon.
He is survived by his parents, Trina and Aaron Reeder of Stewartsville, MO and Ronnie Dawson of Cameron, MO; brothers, Kasen Reeder and Keagan Reeder of Stewartsville, MO, and Zackary Dawson of Cameron, MO; maternal grandmother, Wanda Utt of Stewartsville, MO; and numerous other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18th, 2025, at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, Missouri. No visitation is scheduled.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
