Tyese J. Rush

Tyese J. Rush passed away on January 3rd, 2026, at the age of 24 in Rockford, IL. Tyese also known as "TY" was born on September 29th, 2001 in Aurora, IL to LaTasha Williams and Marvin Rush. TY grew up with 15 siblings; Marchell Russell, LaToya Williams, Marvin Rush Jr, Damon Simmons Jr, ShaQuanna Hadnott, Devin Williams, Leon (DT) Williams, Dewayne Williams, Darius Williams, Daronte Williams, Davonte williams, Tiana Rush, Trevon Rush, Trenton Rush, and Tia Rush.
TY was known for his kindness, humor, and strength. He was the life of the party. He had a way of walking into a room and instantly lifting the energy. He can make you laugh, just by looking at you. He always gave a vibe that made you feel like you belonged. His happiest moments was when he was creating and turning his ideas into videos that capture moments, moods, and meaning. And least to say he never missed a moment. He also loved to draw. He also loved spending time with his family. TY loved being around his siblings, his nieces and nephews and his family. He always had a listening ear or the truth to tell you depending on the conversation. And when life got too loud, he would find calm in nature, surrounding himself with peaceful waters leaving him with a calm spirit.
TY was proceeded in death by his parents, LaTasha Williams and Marvin Rush; his grandparents Joanne McLaughlin, Willie williams, Clotiel Rush and Leon Turner, his sister, Tiana Rush, and brother Marvin Rush Jr., his niece Anniyah Dryden and his nephew Jaylen Williams.
Ty is survived by his loving siblings Marchell Russell, LaToya Williams, Damon Simmons Jr, ShaQuanna Hadnott, Devin Williams, Leon (DT) Williams, Dewayne Williams, Darius Williams, Daronte Williams, Davonte williams, Trevon Rush, Trenton Rush, and Tia Rush, his aunts and uncles, and his nieces and nephews, his cousins and so much more family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 11 AM until time of service 12 PM at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl., Aurora, IL 60506.
