Tyleea Rose Tucker Smart, the beloved daughter of Wayne and Ceola Smart, was born on November 23, 1999 in Brooklyn, New York. Tyleea entered into eternal rest on January 20, 2026.

Tyleea attended Sunshine Daycare in Brooklyn, New York and began her elementary education at P.S. 45, where she attended until the second grade. She later relocated with her family to Calhoun Falls, South Carolina, where she continued her education at John C. Calhoun Elementary School and Calhoun Falls Charter School, graduating with her high school diploma in 2017.

Tyleea furthered her education at Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, South Carolina, where she earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. She then continued her studies at Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina, earning a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. At the time of her passing, Tyleea was in the process of completing her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, with an expected graduation date of May 13, 2026.

In addition to her academic achievements, Tyleea gained valuable professional experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Specialist at Hope Reach Project Hope Foundation in Greenwood, South Carolina. She also served as a Special Education Assistant with Greenwood School District 50 and most recently worked as an RBT Specialist at Upstate Behavioral Services in Greenwood, South Carolina. Tyleea also completed internships at various locations, counseling children throughout the Greenwood area.

Tyleea was a kind and loving young woman with a bright future ahead of her. She is survived by her loving parents, Wayne and Ceola Smart of Calhoun Falls, South Carolina; her sister, Deonte Tucker of Athens, Georgia; her aunts, Patricia and Monica Sanders of Brooklyn, New York; her great-aunts, Christine Turner and Barbara Reid of Calhoun Falls, South Carolina; and a host of other great-aunts, cousins, and many dear friends who loved her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, the late Eitel and Ann Smart and the late James and Rosa Sanders.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Glovers A.M.E. Church in Calhoun Falls, SC. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing Thursday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home - Calhoun Falls.
