Tylen Truce Vandiver

Tylen Truce Vandiver, a beloved child and shining light, was born on March 10, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia. With a spirit that touched everyone around him, Tylen provided joy and warmth to his family and friends throughout his brief time on this Earth. Sadly, he departed from us on October 28, 2025, also in Augusta, leaving behind cherished memories and an unimaginable void in the hearts of those who knew him.

Tylen was gifted a nurturing home by his loving parents, Thaddeus Vandiver, Jr. and Tykiah Johnson. His laughter reverberated through their lives, encapsulating love and innocence in every giggle and wonder that only a child can bring. Tylen's potential was vast, and though his journey was short, his impact on his family and community will be felt forever.

In honor of Tylen’s vibrant spirit, a visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 2 PM to 6 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA. Friends and loved ones are invited to come together, to share stories, love, and support as they celebrate Tylen’s life.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted Thursday, on November 6, 2025, at 2 PM, also at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home. A time to reflect on Tylen's beautiful life will be shared, filled with heartfelt memories and a sense of togetherness.

Tylen will then be laid to rest at South View Cemetery in Augusta, where the interment will take place on November 6 at 3:15 PM. This serene setting will serve as a final resting place for a spirit who embodied love and joy.

Though Tylen Truce Vandiver’s time with us was fleeting, he filled his days with laughter and love that will resonate in the hearts of his family forever. As all who knew him gather to celebrate the gift of his life, they hold on to the belief that love knows no bounds and that Tylen will forever exist in the cherished memories and stories we share today.
