Our hearts are broken as we share the loss of the beloved Tyler Lamar Bowlen, who passed away far too soon on October 10, 2025, at the young age of 15 years old. Though his time with us was short, he filled every moment with laughter and warmth that touched everyone who knew him.
Tyler had a gift for making people laugh and smile. He had a contagious laugh; he could brighten even the hardest days. He was the kind of boy that looked out for others, that loved deeply and who always found joy in the simple things such as board games or spending time with his family.
He will be remembered for his gentle heart, his easy smile, and the light he brought into so many lives. Though our hearts ache with his absence, his spirit will live on in the memories we share and the love he left behind.
He is survived by his loving parents, Jerrick Dean Bowlen, and Shannon Denise Stuckey; his brother, Jerrick Dean Bowlen Jr.” Shotgun;” and his sisters, Jackie Stuckey and boyfriend Cattle, Emilie Bowlen, Sarah Bell, and Haliey Rollins. Tyler is also survived by his devoted grandparents, Gary and Lisa Stuckey, and Bonita Peavey.
In this time of sorrow, the family appreciates the companionship of their extended family, which includes aunts and uncles Melissa Bowlen, Gary Stuckey Jr., and wife Maggie, Michael Stuckey and wife Sherry, Krista Stuckey and wife Maya, Chauntel Daniels and husband Brandon, and Brooke Stuckey, Brianna Stuckey and wife Liz, and Mason Merrill. He will be fondly remembered by his cousins, Bray, Connor, Brent, Nina, Jack, Chloe, Kya, Dominic, and Christian.
Tyler was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Linda Nell Land; his great uncle, Albert Jackson Jr.; and his uncle, Brent Stuckey. The memories of Tyler’s laughter and joy will forever remain cherished in the hearts of his family and friends. His journey, though short, radiated love and happiness that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Moss Hill United Pentecostal Church, with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Michael Mahaney. Cremation services are under the care of Faith and Family Funeral Services.
