Tyler Crouch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Darby Funeral Home - Canton on Jan. 3, 2023.
Eugene "Tyler" Crouch II was born on February 27, 1976, in Atlanta, Georgia.
From a very early age, Tyler was proving to be the life of the party and always a little mischievous. His first audience was his two older sisters, whom he adored and pestered. He was an entertainer and relished in making people laugh. He enjoyed being outside at any opportunity, playing cowboys or being Bo from the Dukes of Hazzard.
His love for the outdoors continued as he got older. He enjoyed hunting with his dad and then later teaching his son, Max to hunt and fish. Any activity that he ventured into, he would go into whole-heartedly. All the bells and whistles or equipment that was needed. He was going to do it, and look good while he did.
He attended Newton County High School in Covington, GA. There he met many lifelong friends and the love of his life, Brandi. After graduating in 1994, he joined the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina for 4 years. Afterwards Tyler moved back to Georgia where he served as a Walton County Deputy Sheriff, before starting his career in the automotive industry.
Tyler and Brandi married in September of 2000. Their honeymoon stage was never ending as they spent 9 years, traveling, going to concerts, and making many treasured memories together. In 2009, they welcomed their first son, Maxwell Tyler. Tyler passed to Max his love for God, hunting, cowboys and all things outdoors. He taught Max the importance of manners, integrity, and how to be a true southern gentleman. In 2014, their family moved from Covington to Cherokee County. In 2016, they welcomed their second son Layton Reid. A mama's boy just like his daddy, Layton's personality quickly showed to be a carbon copy of Tyler's. The love that Tyler demonstrated for his family was infinite and a sight to behold. That love is modeled in his son's eyes when they look at their mama.
Ty's love for his family and friends was as big as the stories he told. From his back breaking bear hugs and infectious laughter, it was never quiet when he was in the room. Ty could make you laugh 'til your belly hurt and dance until you were dizzy. He would give anyone the shirt off of his back and he left an imprint on so many, that will last a lifetime.
Tyler met his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 30, 2022. He was proceeded in death by his father, Eugene Tyler Crouch. He is survived by his wife of 22 years Brandi, two sons Maxwell Tyler (13) and Layton Reid (6). He is also survived by his mother Dotty Harris (Ron), as well as his sisters Candy Lowry and Caron Lott, along with many other family and friends.
A celebration of life for Tyler will be held on Sunday, January 15th, 2023, at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, GA. Family and friends will be received from 2pm-4pm with the service immediately following at 4pm.
