Tyler Michael Humphrey, 23, of Whitestown, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019.Tyler was born July 11, 1995, the son of Michael K. and Geralyn (Priesmeyer) Humphrey. He graduated from Carmel High School in 2013. He was currently attending Indiana University, pursuing a degree in business.Tyler loved to make people laugh and he brightened the world with his quick wit and quirky humor. He was compassionate, loving and empathetic beyond what he realized. He was very loyal to his friends and his family, and cared deeply for the ones he loved. He enjoyed mountain biking and had a tremendous love for animals. He had a passion for helping people and animals whenever he could, and was planning to become a Firefighter/EMT. Tyler was an avid fan of IU and Indiana Pacer Basketball. He loved music of all types, and he loved his food; mainly pizza, Buffalo wings and 3 grilled chicken cheese quesadillas with a small queso, from his favorite Mexican place El Rodeo. He could always be found at the gym, playing video games with Chloe or in the pasture, gazing at the stars.Survivors include his parents, his beloved sister and best friend, Emily Humphrey, grandparents: Noel and Linda Humphrey, Ron and Loretta Hawk, William and Dolores Priesmeyer; and "the cousins". He leaves behind his sweet angel "Chloe the Dog".Private family services have been planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Boone County Humane Society, 5366 S Indianapolis Rd. Whitestown, IN 46075.Tyler will be laid to rest at Salem Cemetery in Zionsville, on a beautiful, south-facing hillside with a clear view of the stars. He is up in Heaven with God and the stars, watching over his friends and family. His presence will be missed, but you can always visit with him by gazing up at the stars.

Behrooz and I offer our deepest condolences. It was a delight to see Tyler and all of the Ashbrooke kids grow into wonderful young adults. He will be missed.
