Tyler J. MITCHELL, 28, of Gaines, PA, formerly of Boyertown, PA and Denver, CO, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 22, 2021. Tyler was born May 28, 1992, in Lansdale, PA. A 2010 graduate of Boyertown Area Senior High School, he was a self-employed glazier. Tyler was fun-loving and loved to laugh – making others laugh with him. He was artistic, enjoying music and drawing, while he was also an excellent pool player, belonging to various pool leagues. He enjoyed being outdoors no matter what the season: snowboarding, skateboarding, fishing, and gardening. He loved riding motorcycles and attending festivals and concerts, following his favorite band, Umphrey’s McGee, all over the country. Tyler lived life to the fullest and was always ready to help others around him whenever they needed anything. He is survived by his father, Richard F. Mitchell of East Norriton; mother and step-father, Sonia L. Ruskavich Holbert and Michael Holbert of Gaines; sister, Hailey C. Mitchell of Denver, CO; maternal grandmother, Charlotte C. “Mie Mie” Opie of Gaines; aunt, Maggie Mitchell of East Norriton; uncle, Bill Mitchell of Scottsdale, AZ; girlfriend and love of his life, Melissa L. Correa of West Palm Beach, FL; step-sister, Lauren Holbert Price of Schwenksville; step-brother, Michael Holbert, Jr. of Camp Pendleton, CA; and several cousins.
