Tyler Keith Voll
April 26, 2004 - June 9, 2025
Tyler Keith Voll, of Bondurant, Iowa, passed away June 9, 2025. Born on April 26, 2004, in Des Moines, Iowa, Tyler was the beloved son of Jeff and Susan Voll.
Tyler lived a life full of adventure and heart. From a young age, he found joy and purpose in the great outdoors whether it was fishing, hunting, boating, or walking in the woods with his faithful dog, Stella, or driving the tractor, tilling up the land at the Nelson farm. Nature was where he found peace and where he spoke to God. A 2022 graduate of Bondurant-Farrar High School, Tyler was known for his strong work ethic, love of hands-on learning, and generous spirit. He started his own lawn care business as a boy and was always fixing small engines or diving into new challenges. He had a deep love for farming and dreamed of owning his own land one day. His favorite days were working on the Nelson farm, learning the trade, working on the equipment, and taking care of animals.
Tyler went on to study welding and large crane operations, he joined the local union Operating Engineering 234 where he found a fulfilling career working with large machinery, something that brought him both pride and excitement. He was not scared to operate the largest cranes and develop his craft at a young age. His hobbies reflected his curious and adventurous nature: competitive trap shooting, archery, video games (especially Farm Simulator), and competitive ice fishing. Recently he joined competitive 4 -wheel racing where he found excitement and friendship.
Above all, Tyler had a servant heart. He made friends wherever he went and was always the first to lend a hand to a stranger in need. Tyler was baptized at First Family Church in Ankeny, at the age of 7, where he openly professed his belief that Jesus Christ died to pay the price for all sin.
He leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory with them always: his parents, Jeff and Susan Voll of Bondurant; his grandmother Patricia Voll of Des Moines, his grandfather Victor (Libby) Cooper of Abilene Texas; his Uncle Tim (Erica) Voll of Ankeny; Aunt Katie (Jeremy) Sharon of West Des Moines and Aunt Jessica Sifuentes of Altoona. His cousins Matthew (Mia) Voll, Tyne and Zeke Sharon, Darcee Outland.
Hannah Cooper, Lily, and Carmen Sifuentes.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfather Jim Voll and Grandmother Cynthia Cooper. Great Grandparents Betty and Forrest Baker, Vera Weaver, Kenneth and Phyllis Voll.
Tyler's life was a gift to all who knew him, filled with laughter, kindness, his family, and working the land. He will be deeply missed and loved until we see him again.
