It is with the heaviest of hearts to share with the world that Tyler Robert Warren Harvey, 29 years old passed away from a tragic accident on July 6, 2025 while working in Tununak, AK.
Tyler was born on June 9, 1996 in Palmer, AK the state he was happy to call home. Tyler surrounded himself with family and carefully curated groups of friends throughout his life. He was a student athlete who excelled in both basketball and football during his tenure at Colony High School. He was a 2014 Colony High School graduate. Tyler loved fishing any time of year. He was an incredible human being who could make friends with people from any walk of life. Proof of his charm and wit is evident in the eclectic array of people in his life who will always hold him in high regard. Tyler was a man of many trades. His time spent commercial fishing, as a diesel mechanic, and as a tower technician took him to places across Alaska that most people could never imagine. Tyler loved taking pictures of himself in high places and would constantly share these stunning landscapes. Whether he was in the blistering cold or basking in the midnight sun, you could always find him with a smile on his face and a few red hairs on his chin. Mr. Harvey knew what it took to be a man and he grew up at a young age. He was a passionate friend who would be there in an instant if anything was ever needed. Tyler Harvey was a rider who was always down for the cause, particularly if you brandished a thoughtfully placed FILT tattoo. The light that was Tyler's soul will hold an infinite spot in the hearts of many. Tyler is survived by his lifetime partner Lexi DeHart, Mother Carrie Harvey, Father Jamie Evans, Grandparents John & Polly Harvey, Grandmother Ruthie Evans, Siblings Brady Harvey, Jaycee (Harvey) Gossett, Cannin Gossett, Chase Evans, Malea Evans, & Rowan Klein. Auntie Chantel (Harvey) Walker, Uncle Rich Walker, Cousins Sara & Emily Walker along with numerous other special cousins. He was preceded in death by Aunt Leianna Harvey, Great Uncle Fred Stallings, Cousin Ashley Evans, Uncle Jeremiah Evans, Uncle Mickey Evans, Aunt Amanda Evans, and Desiree Beck. Please join us for a Memorial Service which will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 @ 11:00 am at King's Chapel 3301 E. Parks Hwy Wasilla. There will be a procession following for a burial service at Aurora Cemetery in Wasilla. God bless you Ty, we love you always & forever. Fly with the angels.
