Tyrone Echols Sr.

Tyrone Echols Sr., son of Arthur Echols Sr. and Laura Louise Echols, was born on October 5, 1955 in Newark, NJ. Tyrone grew up on 7th Ave with his brothers and sisters, meeting many different people over the years. He attended the Newark school system and joined the National Guard. Tyrone worked at many different jobs: Renaissance Youth Center as a Drug Counselor, Alamo and Dollar Rental Car Service as a Service Agent, and at Harrison Steel and Metals as a Supervisor Folk Left Operator. He received many different awards from Essex County College Christian Fellowship College, Essex County College Drug Counselor, and Acorn for assistance Immigration Rights in Washing DC. Tyrone had a loving and caring heart for his family, friends and neighbors. He loved to play the game of chess, cards and dominoes with his family. He loved listening to all kind of music such as: Worship, Old School, Spanish, and Club. Tyrone always protected and help his children, siblings, nieces, nephews, and neighbors with no questions asked. He believed in always lending out a helping hand to those in need. Tyrone passed away at the age of 67.
Tyrone Echols Sr. is survived by his wife Rosa Echols, sons Tyrone Echols Jr, Danny Echols, Tahmeel White daughters Jessica Echols Christina Fuentes, God-daughter Jacqueline Carrero and family grandchildrens Nigerell Echols, Alexis Holder, Naarah Echols "Mama", Al-Tyron Echols-Ramey, Deante Echols-Ramey, Kivante Echols-Ramey, Miykah Echols, Rafael Echols, Saul Echols, Sasha Phillips, Azari White, Jedaiah White, great grandchildren Sade' Wilson, Ne'Siah Moore, son in law Eddy Salvador, daughter in law Sharita White, brothers Arthur Echols Jr, Steven Echols, sisters Elizabeth Echols-Rice, Louise Echols-Holder, Laura Echols-Reed, (Robert), Victoria Echols, Darlene Echols, best-friends, Tony Atwoods, Carmelo Ortiz, Edwin "Chino" Ortiz, Raymon Rodriguez, Victor Rios, Marvin Jordan, Magaliz Laboy. He has host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews and other relatives and friends. Tyrone Echols Sr., proceeded in death by his father Arthur Echols Sr., mother Laura Louise Echols, brothers Michael Echols, Charles Allen "Shariff" Echols, sisters Jeanette Echols, Elaine Echols-Lovett.
Tyrone, Michael and his nephew Michael Joe would go out to food pantries to help families and seniors that were in need. They would get together and cook full complete meals to handout to those in need and seniors. He had a pure giving heart for all those that were in need from young youth to seniors, and family to neighbors. He loved to challenge his granddaughter Naarah "Mama" in Chess and Nigerell in the game of 1500 hundred to spades.
