Tyrone Price, 60 of Prince George, Virginia was born July 29,1965 and departed this life on Saturday, January 31, 2026 At VCU Medical Center to be with the Lord. Tyrone had a personality that shone as brightly as the summer sun. He graduated from Louisa County Public School, then he went on to attend the University of Virginia, where he played football. Tyrone discovered a talent for fixing things and soon channeled his energy into learning about computers . For more than thirty years he worked independently as a self-employed IT professional, a career that granted him the independence and flexibility he valued so deeply.
Tyrone was a passionate about the outdoors, dedicating time to hunting and fishing / deep-sea and local outings. He also had a strong interest in Motorsports, following the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) and racing his own car for many years. Tyrone’s curiosity extended beyond earthly pursuits, as he was an amateur astronomer with a love for stargazing. He enjoyed traveling and hoped to visit the ALMA observatory in Chile, but the pandemic ultimately prevented him from realizing that dream, Tyrone was also an active lover of western shows.
Tyrone was preceded in death by his parents, Willard M. Price, Jr. and Alma Price, As well as his brother-in-law, Melvin C. Hayden.
Tyrone’s memory is cherished by his devoted sister, Rosetta Hayden, and his two brothers: Morton (Clarissa) Price, and Grayling (Margaret) Price, all residing in Louisa, Virginia. He is also remembered by his devoted niece’s, Brittney Hayden and her daughter Maliyah, whom Tyrone affectionately called his Little LeeLee. Other nieces including, Shannon Price, and Janice Price, alongside a host of nieces & nephews, and two devoted friends: Adrienne & Charnette, Garland Pate, Wilson and Gloria Tann, Marcus Woodley and Curtis Burdett.
