Tyrone Wilson

Tyrone Wilson, age 73, passed away on January 9, 2026. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and was the eldest child of Juanita Wilson Crowder, who preceded him in death. Two siblings, Audrey Crowder and Terrance Irby, also preceded him in death.

Tyrone spent his formative years in Birmingham, where he completed high school and met and married Vickie Longmire Wilson. Three children were born to this union: Brandy, Tyrone Jr., and Britaine.

Tyrone eventually moved his family to Cleveland, Ohio. Over the years, he worked as a laborer for various companies. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting pool, playing baseball, and simply having a good time.

Tyrone leaves to mourn his loving wife, Vickie; five children, Brandy, Tyrone Jr., Britaine, Sidney Whitt, and Tyrone Whitt; eight grandchildren; his stepfather, Aubrey Crowder Jr.; one sister, Deborah Wilson; and one uncle, Boot Williams, of Birmingham. A host of relatives and friends will also cherish the memory of Tyrone Wilson.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 1 p.m., at Cleveland Memorial Gardens Cemetery 4324 Green Rd, Cleveland, OH 44122 (please meet at cemetery gates by 12:45 p.m.).
