TYSHAWN Duran Holton, 36, of Indianapolis, IN, departed this life on September 15, 2024. He was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on May 12, 1988, to Shawn Junius and Veronica L. Holton. At age four, his mom relocated to Indianapolis, Ind, along with his stepfather Billy Young. Tyshawn received Christ at an early age and attended church with his family. Tyshawn attended school in the Indianapolis School District. After which, he got his first job at Meijers, he was a hard worker and saved to buy his first car. He was employed at FedEx, as a Facility Specialist.
TYSHAWN was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He loved beginning with his family, especially his cousin’s. He had a homogenous heart and was loved by many, with an unforgettable smile. He was humble and always did whatever had to be done for those he loved. Wherever he was there was laughter. He loved fishing, cars, gaming, and music.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, whom he fondly called “Mommie,” Veronica L. Holton. (4) children, Shawn, Ayden, Adrianna Holton

Holton (JoAnn) of Benton Harbor, MI, (1) Uncle Trent Hunt (Stephanie) of Columbus, Ohio, (6) Aunt’s Teresa D. Holton-Craft, (Titus), Shelia Hunt, DeAnna Cannon (Vernon) of Indianapolis, IN, Patrice Holton ,Chicago, IL, Tara Bradley, Baltimore, MD, and DeAnna Morgan-Powers (Kaleb), Niles, MI. (4) Great Uncles, Malcolm Butler of Benton Harbor, MI, Kevin Hunter of Indianapolis, IN, Jimmy Holton of Grand Rapids MI, and Harold Holton of Little Rock, AR. (3) Great Aunts, Charlotte Childs, Ida Mc Gee of Benton Harbor, MI and Jean Holton Ellis of Milwaukee, WI., (1) Niece Savannah L. Young of Lakewood, WA. A special “Auntie” Dr. Shirley Johnson, of Grand Rapids, MI.
A host of cousins, family, and friends who love him dearly.
TYSHAWN was preceded in death by his father Shawn Junius, Maternal Great Grandfather Charles A. Brown, and Great Grandmother Annie Mae Brown-Osby,
Paternal Great Grandfather and Grandmother Clemmie & Vonnie Holton, Great Aunt Sharon Brown, and Grandfather Hollis W. Morgan Sr.
Visitation is Saturday, September 28, 2024, 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
Funeral service will begin at noon.
