Ula Stanley Obituary
Mrs. Ula Wilma Stanley, 87 of Murray, KY passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at her home.
Born April 11, 1936, in Randolph County, IN, Wilma was the daughter of the late William Vernon Hendren and the late Ula Leah (Jones) Hendren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Don Erwin Stanley, Sr. in 1995 and siblings, Francis L. "Buck" Hendren, Leah Sallee, William Hendren, Rebecca Snelson, Velma Hart and Beverly Brandes.
Wilma, loving called "Gran" by all, is survived by her children, Donetta Witt of Mineral Wells, TX, David Lee Stanley of Greenfield, IN, Don E. Stanley, Jr. of Bushnell, FL, Charles D. Stanley, of Murray, KY, Dora Hodge of Lake Worth, TX, Darcy Kirk of Murray, KY, Rachel Moore of Burleson, TX, Kenneth Stanley of Azle, TX, and Shanda Stanley of Fort Worth, TX. Also surviving are a brother, Vernon Hendren, forty-three grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
A funeral service, celebrating her life, will be held Friday, August 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Burkeen officiating. Burial will take place in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN 37221.
Friends may visit with the family Thursday, August 24, 2023, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4th St., Murray, KY 42071.
