Ulan Gerald Walker, 85, passed away on May 22, 2025, in Gun Barrel City, Texas. He was born on November 10, 1939, in Palmer, Texas to parents Joner and Ethel (Adair) Walker.
Ulan, a simple man enjoyed hunting, fishing, a home cooked meal and spending time with family. Many moments would find him sitting on the porch, spending time with family and "raising hell" or diving into a meal made by his beloved wife, Wanda Walker.
Ulan is survived by his sons, Melvin Earl Walker and wife Mable of Kemp, Texas and Elton Benton Walker and wife Dawn of Kemp, Texas; two sisters, Dora Henderson, and Peggy Tucker; numerous grand kids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews.
Ulan is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Mae Walker; sons, Melton Gerald Walker, James Ulan Walker, and Robert Benton Walker; parents, Joner and Ethel Walker; and several brothers and sisters.
A visitation will take place on June 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home located at 1226 S Elm St, Kemp, TX 75143. Following this, a funeral service will be held on June 6, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM at the same location, allowing family and friends to come together to celebrate his remarkable life. Ulan Gerald Walker's legacy is one of love, laughter, and a profound connection to the people he cared about. As we reflect on his life, let us remember him as a beacon of joy and a guiding light in our lives. May his memory bring comfort and peace to all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
