Uldine Lucille Pitts

Mrs. Uldine Lucille Ruth Pitts, 92, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro, Georgia with her three sons, Ezell, Tony, and Kevin Pitts, as well as other family members, by her side.
Mrs. Uldine was born in Clyo, Ga on May 4, 1931, to Leffler and Annie Mae Ruth. She was educated in Effingham County Schools (Green Morgan School) and worked as a seamstress for many years. Uldine worked at White Stag in Sylvania, Ga and at Springfield Manufacturing in Springfield, Ga before retiring and becoming a homemaker. She was a faith member of Turkey Branch Baptist Church in Shawnee, Ga for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Howard Ezell Pitts; parents, Leffler and Annie Mae Ruth; son, George Arnold Tuttle; and great grandson, Darien DaShawn Pitts.
Survivors include: her sons, Jerry Ezell Pitts (Nancy), Larry Anthony "Tony" Pitts (Debbie), and Kevin Pitts; daughter-in-law, Terry Arnsdorff Tuttle; 9 grandchildren, Mariea Reinbold (Chad), Rebecca Wise (Russell), Heather Pitts, Todd Pitts, Aaron Pitts (Erin), Ayla Pitts (Dustin), Jennifer Tuttle, Lori Tuttle Stanley(Brenda) and Timothy Tuttle(Donna); and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Turkey Branch Baptist Church on Monday, July 3, 2023, from 10-11am with a funeral service to follow in the church at 11am. Interment will be held in the Turkey Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
