Ursula Kablack Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Homes Inc - Hamilton on Jan. 13, 2026.
Ursula "Sue" C. (Wilson) Kablack, age 87, of Hamilton, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Light Hill Hospice in Canandaigua.
Sue was born on February 17, 1938, in Brooklyn, a daughter of the late Grant and Barbara (Stevens) Wilson. She graduated high school and continued her education at SUNY Farmingdale and SUNY Morrisville.
On April 11, 1959, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, William "Bill" Kablack, in Jamaica, NY. Together they built a life firmly rooted in faith, love, and service to God and other. He predeceased her on August 5, 2017, after 58 years of marriage.
Sue devoted her life to caring for those around her. She was a loving homemaker and later worked as a trust administrator with NBT Bank for over 10 years, retiring in 1997. Her greatest ministry, however, was opening her heart and home as a foster mother to 22 children, sharing God's love through patience, compassion, and unwavering support.
A woman of deep and abiding faith, Sue was a faithful member of New Life Church in Randallsville, where she served as a trustee. She joyfully gave of herself through many ministries, including Harvest Hands Orphanage in Mexico, Servants on Wheels Ever Ready Christian Ministry (SOWER). Sue lived out her faith daily, believing she was called to serve others as Christ served.
Sue found joy in God's creation and cherished time spent gardening, reading, cooking, walking, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. She was known for her generous spirit, gentle guidance, and steadfast trust in the Lord.
She is survived by her children: William Kablack Jr. of Canandaigua, (loving companion Cheryl Driscoll), Amy (Gary) Roberts of Syracuse, Martin Kelemen of South Arlington, NJ, Patrice (Stephen) Puddington of Beaver Falls, Jonbarry (Pamela) Kablack, of Middle Village, and Alison (Erik) Jacobsen of Las Vegas, NV; her brother, David (Sandra) Wilson of Saratoga, CA; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sue was predeceased by her brother, Grant Wilson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in Randallsville New Life Church in the spring at a date and time to be announced.
Interment will be in Smith Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Randallsville Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY 13346.
